Why D.Jones ?

Like a lot of Banjo-Tooie's player, you have asked this question : why the Lord Woo Fak Fak's Locker belongs ot Davy Jones, if not, it's the time to ask the question, because we got the aswer !

To acess to Lord Woo Fak Fak, you have to go through an old wreck of a wooded-boat, this wreck had a sense, when you know what is behind the name of Davy Jones and Davy Jones's Locker !

This Davy Jones is a character, who belongs to the nautical myths, that seamen liked to told in a pub. The Idiom Davy Jones's Locker means the Bottom of the sea, and a lot of sentences whith this guy are related with bad things. a

To be sent to Davy's Locker perish at sea
To awaken Davy Jones to cause a storm
...

The first time "Davy Jones" is mentioned was in a book of Tobias Smolett, "The Adventures of Peregrine Pickle" in 1752. People think that the idiom comes from the combination of Davy, derivate from Duffy ( ghost in the West Indies) or form St David patron saint of Welsh sailors, and Jones, derivate from Jonah, the biblical man, who has been eaten by a whale. Other people think that the idiom came from "A pub owner named David Jones who used to incapacitate hapless drinkers in his ale locker, and send them off aboard ships." [Wikipedia]

So this locker is here to warm the people who are awared of the nautical idom...

let's go further
