Welcome to this , well , second bi-expo, if we can consideer the 2004 one like a real one ! A event like bi-expo is very hard to organize but so great ! It isn't worth less. Banjo Internet World has evolved since his creation in 1997. At Banjo-International, we think that the Banjo Internet World is entering in his 3rd era.

The first one was dominated by the premier and mythic banjo fan website : YBK. Remember at the beginning of the marvellous and great Banjo Internet history. We are all the children of YBK. It's very amazing to see that YBK's boards are still alive ! Nobody can pretend to a so important life ! And when you know that YBK website has made BKPC 1&2, you are forced to admire this website , the father of all our great or crappy banjo-related "pages".

Who can pretend today a popularity like YBK ? Nobody, you guys of a great website, you can pretend it, so try to do your best, maybe in 10 years ! Who knows ?

At the end of the 90s, in 1999-2000, a new era, not like the anarchist " du passé faisons table rase", more like a continuation with an evolution, with the "clue" of Stop'n'Swop by the Rarewitchproject and the creation of Dabreegster Database of Banjo-Fella Breegull Aviary, yeah that was the period of very long name, it was " à la mode". This era didn't bring a lot to the banjo internet world, new technology has been used by websites of this era, but something was lacking.

With the crash of Microsoft buying, an un-countable number of fan website has closed, BT-Hive, BT-Planet , BK-T, ...

Today, Banjo Internet World is back ! During the year 2003, the first multi-language banjo's webring had been created, Rarewitchproject had came back. Between 2003 and 2005 : 2 years to rebuilt a new Banjo Internet World.

Today Banjo Internet World is evolving, and Banjo-International will continue to support all the actors of this New community, by promoting of the projects and new websites.

Because Banjo-International will continue to do what it does the best : trying to federate the Banjo Websites, because today a lonely banjo dedicated website can do nothing, that's a fact, during this Summer banjo-international will evolved again, by meeting "the nouvel vague"
